**Jean's Pick of the Week**
Description: Arresting hand-colored etching/illustration from a February 1884 edition of Harper's Weekly that shows relief and police efforts during a flood in Cincinnati. Drawn by Henry Farny (1847-1916), famed French-native artist who made Cincinnati his home, this well-preserved page from Harper's has retained its jewel-tone hand-applied blues and reds amid the otherwise darker night scene. Comes mounted on blue mat board in a metallic finish wood frame.
Dimensions: 20.5"W x 15.5"H.
Condition: Overall very good antique condition; frame shows slight wear to finish.
Preview available - Fridays and Saturdays.
